Sort was birthed in 2021 after doing virtual assistant work for a friend's apparel business. However, before Sort became an official service, it was always a helping hand to her many entrepreneurial friends and family. From product branding to brainstorming business names and plans, Sort was always behind the scenes.

My name is Shalonda Ross, the brains and brilliance behind Sort. I found my niche helping small business owners grow and develop their businesses as my family and friends embarked on their small business journeys. Whether I am providing advice, taking on a task to free your mind so you can create, or being the support you need to execute your next idea, I am excited to help support your business. 

My background is in Health Care Administration and my career has taken me from medical record maintenance to customer service to provider rep. Recently, I began working as a Development & Communications specialists where I reignited my love for writing, marketing, project management, and content development. I have always had a natural calling for organization and being the first born, I guess you can consider me very responsible (and a bit bossy), but only in the way of wanting the best for you! I mean, those are characteristics that will benefit you and your business (wink). I love sharing my ideas, I love listening to new ideas and making them reality, and I especially love seeing black entrepreneurs boss up!
